The Haileys are a Winnipeg-based music group with an electric sound blending rock and punk sensibilities. Inspired by punk, glam rock, and the Riot Grrrl movement, they wanted a logo that expressed power, femininity, and energy.
I explored a variety of images they could use on posters, merch, social media, and web. The group decided on a hand-lettered wordmark for their logo accompanied by two supporting illustrations for merch.
